The ABA provides feedback to Treasury regarding the proposal to introduce a Business EInvoicing Right to accelerate business adoption of Peppol international eProcurement framework.
The ABA strongly supports initiatives aimed at increasing business awareness and accelerating the adoption of eInvoicing; however, considers it premature to mandate a BER at this point in time.Download PDF
The ABA supports the introduction of mandatory climate-related financial disclosures aligned with the ISSB, and we feel that the proposed model generally strikes an appropriate balance. The submission makes key points across six areas: phased approach, reporting content, reporting location, assurance, continuous disclosure and the modified liability approach.
